This course is geared for participants that work in the health care industry. It covers Advanced CPR and choking procedure techniques for adults, children and infants.

Content:
- Scene Management and Primary Assessment
- Anatomy and Physiology
- Adult, Child and Infant CPR and Choking Procedures; including modifications for:
- A patient found unresponsive
- Witnessed cardiac arrest
- Advanced paediatric concerns
- Automated External Defibrillation (AED)
- Bag-Valve Mask (BVM)
- Artificial Respiration
- Checking for pulse
- Cardiovascular Emergencies – heart attack, angina, stroke and transient ischemic attack (TIA)
- Shock.
